We prepare candidates to pass certification tests at accredited third-party labs including QualiTech and Partek in Houma, LA. If a trainee is hired by K.A.D and the customer requires certification upon placement, K.A.D covers the cost of third-party lab testing.

Comprehensive Trade Fundamentals

Tackers, stick welding, fluxcore welding, short-arc welding, aluminum welding, TIG welding, pipe welding, and gouging.

Structural & Pipe Fitting

Structural fitting fundamentals plus pipe fitting: reading and applying blueprints, selecting materials, performing take-offs, and handling all piping tools for fabrication and installation.

OSHA-aligned safety protocols, PPE requirements, and job site awareness training.

Hands-on familiarity with every tool and piece of equipment used in the trade.

Join our hands-on program at our Morgan City training facility.

Learn welding, fitting, safety, and equipment operation with experienced instructors.

Test at a Third-Party Lab

Take your certification test at QualiTech or Partek in Houma, LA. If you are hired by K.A.D and your customer requires certification, we cover the testing cost.

Certified tradespeople can be placed through K.A.D Labor Solutions or pursue opportunities independently.

K.A.D is a family-owned and operated company based in Morgan City, Louisiana. We serve Southern Louisiana, Orange TX, and Pascagoula MS across the shipyard, oil and gas, and industrial sectors.
